| |
To Open Windows Firewall:
1. Click on Start/Control Panel
2. Open Windows Firewall

3. Make sure the On (recommended) check box is checked. In order to allow programs
that need special access to the internet, uncheck the “Don’t allow exceptions” checkbox.

Keep in Mind:
-If you have another firewall program on your computer in addition to Windows firewall
there might be conflicts.
-We recommend turning off the windows firewall and let the other
software control the firewall. We recommend using
Norton Antivirus for antivirus and
firewall protection.
-If you software doesn’t have a built in firewall, like NOD32 or
Symantec Antivirus Corporate we recommend turning on the Windows firewall.
If you don’t have any antivirus software, turn on the Windows Firewall, however Windows firewall
shouldn’t be a replacement for antivirus software.
