  How to Use Internet Explorer 7.0
 

You may have noticed that Microsoft rolled out an updated version of Internet Explorer. A lot of customers called us with various issues right after it came out. Some of the problems can be easily fixed by learning a few things about the new version.

 
 

Where are My Favorites!?

1. Close all your programs.
2. Put your cursor over the taskbar and right-click once. The taskbar menu should appear.
3. If your taskbar is locked there will be a check by the words “Lock the Taskbar”. To unlock the taskbar so you can move it left-click once on the works "Lock the Taskbar".

Next move the taskbar

1. Put the cursor over the taskbar
2. Hold down the left-click button.
3. Drag or move the taskbar to the right. You’ve now moved your taskbar to the right side of the screen, like the picture above. Drag it to the top like the picture below. Practice moving the taskbar around your desktop.

Practice Expanding the Taskbar

1.Drag your taskbar back to the bottom. Put your cursor at the top of the taskbar
2.Hold down the left button and drag your cursor up
3.You’ve expanded the taskbar.

Now that you know how to control the taskbar you can arrange it however you like. Once you’ve moved it be sure to right-click the taskbar and click on Lock the Taskbar so it doesn’t accidently move again.

For more taskbar views and options, right-click your taskbar and choose properties from the taskbar menu.
